As the podcast coincided with World Immunization Week, it was only right to discuss the major impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the rate of vaccine uptake.
Marie talked about the facts and figures about the number of children who missed out on vaccine milestones and the need to protect people from vaccine-preventable diseases.
She also discusses the groundbreaking work being done in the North by organisations such as ReNewVax and iiCON in the realm of vaccine innovation and discovery, supported by Liverpool City Region’s Growth Platform.
